Announcement on Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Management Policy

 

             Asian Marine Services Public Company Limited is committed to driving sustainable business growth while ensuring the quality and safety of its products and services, alongside social and environmental responsibility throughout its business operational processes. The Company operates in accordance with its sustainability policy and demonstrates accountability to all stakeholders. To this end, the Company is dedicated to sustainable supply chain management, complying with all applicable national and international laws, regulations, and standards. This commitment aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), corporate governance principles, and business code of conduct, while upholding accuracy, transparency, and verifiability. Environmental impact, social responsibility, community well-being, and governance (ESG) are key considerations. The Company promotes procurement practices that foster fair competition in order to enhance the competitive capabilities of both the Company and its business partners, ensuring they achieve their full potential, efficiency, and mutually sustainable growth. Accordingly, all executives and employees of the Company are duty-bound to support and strictly comply with the procurement management policy framework, as follows:

 

1.    Procurement shall be conducted with due consideration to quality, price, quantity, service delivery, and responsiveness, with an emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness.

2.    Procurement shall be conducted with transparency, fairness, and with accountability, treating all business partners equally and complying with relevant regulations and laws.

3.    Procurement shall be environmentally friendly (Green Procurement) and fully traceable, while adhering to human rights, social, and labor principles throughout the entire supply chain.

4.    Encourage the procurement and sourcing of raw materials from local business partners.

5.    Select new business partners based on sustainability criteria.

6.    Communicate the Supplier Code of Conduct to the Company’s business partners.

7.    Consider selecting business partners who adhere to the sustainable Supplier Code of Conduct.

8.    Promote the development of employees’ and business partners’ knowledge and capability, and maintain strong relationships to foster mutual and sustainable growth.
